Ultimate Faeries: Fey Monsters & Campaigns for DnD 5E & PF

Faerie Bestiaries finalized! On to Campaigns and PF1!

Hi all,

Quick updates as always! 

• The final proofing passes have been completed and final print files in the hands of the printer. It's amazing how many tiny things can slip through the cracks, but perfection is our aim and both the 5E and PF2 Faerie Bestiary have been exhaustively proofed and are looking beautiful. We've uploaded new final PDF versions to Backerkit and to DrivethruRPG so you can get the final versions at either place.
• We had a weird glitch where a number of backers who had gotten the print versions of the Faerie Bestiary 5E were not getting the PDF sent to them in Backerkit. I've created a new download rule to fix that, so if you were having issues downloading it before, you should be good to go. 
• Our Foundry VTT module for Faerie Bestiary 5E was having trouble getting onboarded at Foundry central. We sent out the codes with the last update but people couldn't activate the module. We went back and forth through the system with the great support staff there, uncovering some kind of odd glitch in a recent firmware update that was giving us a series of three different errors, but as of today that is all sorted out and anyone with the Foundry Faerie Bestiary 5E should be able to activate your module.
• Our minis have arrived! I don't remember for sure if I put it in the last update, but we now have in hand both the Arcknight plastic pawns and the STL 3D minis. We'll be including those in packages once we start sending out physical rewards. 

With the final files for the first two books at the printer and heading to the press, layout is turning now to Faerie Campaigns 5E and Faerie Bestiary PF1, so we'll be updating you soon on those soon! 

Faerie Bestiary 5E Foundry VTT codes are up!

If you added the Foundry VTT module for the Faerie Bestiary 5E to your pledge, check your Backerkit account now for your module key to access it! 

Our Foundry folks are hard at work now on the Faerie Bestiary PF2, and we look forward to having that VTT module for your soon! 

In other news, we've been exhaustively proofing and editing both the 5E and PF1 versions of the Faerie Bestiary with the printer (even when you think you've done the "final" version, we do one more pass with a full proof because more often than not there's a few more things that slipped through). We just sent off what *should* be the final two revisions for both versions of the book to layout, and once those are finalized we'll start printing both books! 

After that, per our previous update, we'll be pushing through on Faerie Campaigns 5E and Faerie Bestiary PF1 next and then on to the final books in the campaign!

Hi all,

Just a quick update to let you know the latest!

• 1.  Faerie Bestiary (PF2): The final version of Faerie Bestiary for Pathfinder Second Edition is now up on Backerkit and available for download. We've sent the final files to the printer for review and cross-checking before we go to print. The 5E book has finished clearing there and will be put in the queue for printing shortly! 
• 2.  Arcknight Pawns: Two big boxes of our plastic pawns arrived today! For any orders that involve books already in stock plus minis, we'll get those headed out soon. Others will ship when your books arrive! 
• 3.  3D Minis from Tableflip: These are printed, wrapped, packed, and ready to ship from the manufacturer to us! We look forward to getting them in and ready for you! 
• 4.  VTT News: The Faerie Bestiary PF2 module has been submitted for approvals at Roll20, so backers who ordered that item will receive your codes as soon as we get them back from the Roll20 folks. Faerie Bestiary 5E for Foundry is nearing completion as well, and once it's been loaded up and approved we'll get codes for you for that too! No updates yet on Faerie Bestiary for Shard and Fantasy Grounds but we've reached out and will let you know when we hear back with an ETA.
• 5.  Reviews! With the PDF already out in your hands, we set the PDF version of the Faerie Bestiary 5E live earlier this month. It would definitely help spread the word if you could take a minute or two to leave a rating and/or a short review for the book on DrivethruRPG (click here to go to the product page) or anywhere else you see it posted for sale. This will be doubly true once we receive the printed books and load them up to Amazon. We hope you are loving your books and if you are let other folks know what they're missing!

Faerie Bestiary 5E PDF updated! And last 4 days of Mechanical Monsters!

Hi all,

After an exhaustive fine-toothed comb review of the ink plotter of Faerie Bestiary 5E, we sent through our final edits and changes, including some that your fantastic fan eyes spotted (like some copy-paste issues with the Bliss Dragon stat block). Those files have been finalized and sent back to the printer to start work soon. Meanwhile, we have uploaded the Faerie Bestiary 5E v2 PDF to Backerkit for you to download there! 

We look forward to being able to do likewise soon with the Faerie Bestiary PF2. We've received a few notes about errors fans have found in that PDF that we shared, but if you spot any more please let us know in the comments below and we'll get those sorted out ASAP! 

Meanwhile, work continues on the other books in this project as we speed towards the finish line in a much more settled climate with the OGL debacle in the rearview mirror for the foreseeable future! We are looking forward to some more big projects coming soon but also will be ramping up our Legendary Loot Patreon to include daily content for PF1, PF2, SF, and ORCfinder/Corefinder, like 5E can get now at our Legendary Loot Patreon! 

Last but not least, we have just FOUR DAYS LEFT on our Mechanical Monsters Kickstarterfor 5E, PF1, and SF, and if you haven't checked it out yet we definitely hope you will! Over 100 incredible creatures for PF1, over 140 for 5E, and all perfect for your campaign whether you lean towards magitech and steampunk or aliens engines or industrial future tech. It all ends Friday night, February 3, so if you love what Legendary brings to the table, pledge today! 

Faerie Bestiary PF2 and Faerie Bestiary VTT Tokens are up!

Hi all,

Quick update time! 

• The two items noted above are now available for download in Backerkit! The Faerie Bestiary (PF2) is looking beautiful and we hope you absolutely love it! 
• The VTT Token Pack I thought was already up there but one of our backers asked about it and turns out I was wrong. There was a separate token pack specific to Fantasy Grounds that was up there already, but not the main one for everyone! That error has been remedied, so if you're supposed to be getting the all-purpose Faerie Bestiary VTT tokens, you can download them there now! 
• Layout is nearly complete on Faerie Campaigns (5E), but given our printers being down for Lunar New Year layout has pivoted to getting the Faerie Bestiary (PF1) up and out the door to you, since that one will be PDF and POD. 
• Editing and development has been blazing fast on Faerie Campaigns (PF2), but we did run into one hiccup. The person who had been assigned to convert Into the Feyweald ran into a family tragedy and had to drop out so we've reassigned that work to a new person. Hopefully this won't result in any delay (since there are still other books in the layout queue in front of it), but please so send any thoughts, prayers, long-distance hugs, or general well-wishes and always remember to love and care for your loved ones the very best you can. Tomorrow is not promised, so be your best today. 
• Last but not least, Mechanical Monsters! As we noted in our last update, while we are cranking hard to the finish on our remaining books for Ultimate Faeries, one of our other teams has also completed work on Mechanical Monsters, our latest Quickstarter project for DnD 5E and Pathfinder RPG, with tons of clockworks, cyborgs, robots, androids, and mechanical fey, fiends, oozes, and more, plus add-ons like the Alien Bestiary and Alien Codex and Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds support! The Mechanical Monsters Quickstarter ends February 3, and as always we hope you'll check it out and spread the word to fellow 5E fans and Pathfinder players alike!
