Ultimate Faeries: Fey Monsters & Campaigns for DnD 5E & PF

It all ends tomorrow! Final stretch goals posted!
almost 4 years ago – Thu, Dec 01, 2022 at 03:16:26 PM

Hi all and welcome to the final surge on our magical mystery tour of all things fey! We want to thank each and every one of you for your fantastic support, with a special thanks to Markus W. (backer 1300) and Michael H. (backer 1400) for helping us clock over 100 new pledges today!

We've posted up our final set of stretch goals, so we'll see how high we can reach as we head into the final day, with more monsters for PF1 and expanded herbalism too!

1.  PDF Bundles: As we've mentioned before, with already 20 pledge levels on the books, we didn't add more because it just would've gotten too messy and confusing. That said, if you want to get a bunch of PDFs, here's all you need to do:

• Pick ANY PDF pledge as your "base pledge." Then, when you go in to enter your information, Kickstarter will present you with a menu of "Add-Ons." Select any additional PDFs you want as add-ons here and they'll be incorporated into your pledge. OR
• Pick ANY PDF pledge as your "base pledge" in Kickstarter. Proceed with that pledge as normal. Then, when we sent out Backerkit surveys, you can add any other PDFs you want in the pledge manager and pay for them then.
• If you have an unusual request, you can always enter a $1 Special Orders pledge to get added to the system and email me directly and we'll figure out whatever we need to do to get your order finalized. Special requests may be billed in Backerkit or we may do a direct Paypal invoice for the items, whichever makes the most sense for your specific situation.

2.  Pledge Manager: I'm starting to get the pledge manager set up now, and we should be ready to send out surveys by the second week of December. Once surveys are sent, you can add extra items, pay for shipping, enter your address and any other information needed, etc. You'll have a week or two to fill out the survey and then we will lock them and charge cards. Once cards are charged, any electronic products that have been completed will be available for download through Backerkit. As new electronic products get done, we'll add them to Backerkit downloads and send out a Kickstarter update to let you know they are available.

Thanks once again for your awesome assistance in bringing this project to life. We look forward to sending out the first wave of completed PDFs soon! Keep spreading the word as we count down the hours to the big finish and have a Legendary week!

Just 3 days to go!

Hi all and thanks to everyone for your fantastic support of this project, especially our delightfully named backer #1200 Raregold134! We are excited and delighted to be drawing near to the end. I've been taking family time during the Thanksgiving weekend but still nibbling away on Faerie Campaigns 5E to get it finalized for layout this week.

Please do continue to share the good word about the project so we can have a fantastic finish. We've been getting previews out to a number of content creators in the online space and if you're interested in their thoughts on all the great stuff they've seen, you can check them out right here!

Thanks to each and every one of you as always for your incredible support, with a special shout to Ben B. for pushing us over the $100,000 mark and unlocking Into the Feyweald, an awesome bonus adventure that will become part of Faerie Campaigns for 5E and PF2 and will be added to all orders for the Forest Kingdom Campaign Compendium for PF1!

Our upcoming stretch goals will expand these books even more, at $110,000 adding new monsters from Pathfinder 2E converted back to Pathfinder 1E statistics for the Faerie Bestiary Companion for PF1! Then, at $120,000 ace author David N. Ross will be creating new expanded herbalism content for all three systems!

We appreciate you spreading the word for this great campaign whenever and wherever you can to fellow 5E fans and/or Pathfinder players! We also have been sharing previews with some of our partners out in the gamer-sphere, and if you'd like to hear what our friends at TechRaptor had to say you can check out their preview of the Faerie Bestiary right here!

It's Thanksgiving week in the USA and we definitely give thanks to you, our fans, for helping us make amazing gaming books for you, and we hope you love using them as much as we love making them! For me, back to the editing mines on Faerie Campaigns, and for all of us onward and upward to November 30th!

We're #2! We're #2!

I'm a college football fan and a lot of time is spent arguing about who is #1, but I can definitively say that Ultimate Faeries is now up to #2 among all Legendary Games Kickstarters with 11 days yet to go, and almost certainly will be #1 when it's all said and done on November 30! We want to thank each and every one of you, with a special shout-out to Chris W-B as backer #1100!

We also are very close to unlocking another awesome adventure to add into Faerie Campaigns for 5E and PF2 with Into the Feyweald, an introductory foray into the fun and festive side of the fey! Anyone ordering the Forest Kingdom Campaign Compendium for PF1 will also get the PF1 version of this adventure as a separate PDF (or softcover, if you're getting the print book). There also will be VTT versions of the adventure available in Backerkit too!

Last but not least, our fine friends at Nord Games have been working on a great project that fits very nicely with the forest, fey, and nature themes with their new Ultimate Guide to Foraging, Harvesting, and Natural Discovery! Dig into creating your own magical items from the flora and fauna of your fantasy world, plus in addition to base PDF and hardcover, you can get companion volumes for Alchemy, Crafting, & Enchanting, their Magic Item Compendium, and their Magic Item Generator card decks! We've worked with Nord on a number of projects in the past and we definitely like to support one another. Their work is high quality every time, so if making magic sounds like fun to you, give it a look!

How to pledge for more than one PDF!
almost 4 years ago – Wed, Nov 16, 2022 at 12:10:02 AM

Hi all,

We've had some questions about what to do if you want to order multiple PDFs. Since we already have 20 different pledge levels, we didn't want to further clutter that area with every possible combination, but fortunately it's super easy to get exactly the PDFs you want!

1.  Make Any Pledge: Choose any one of the pledge levels you see as your base pledge. That provides you with whichever items are listed for that pledge.

2.  Go to Add-Ons: When you make your pledge, it will take you to Kickstarter Add-Ons. (If you've already made a pledge, you can click on it and then on "Edit My Pledge".)

3.  Add the Items You Want: Once you are in the Kickstarter Add-Ons, you can then add any other PDFs you want to your base order. You can add entirely new items or alternate versions of the same item (like if you want both the 5E and PF2 versions of the same book), and also can add VTT tokens or modules.

That's it! Click the items you want to add and Kickstarter will calculate your new pledge amount.

4.  You Can Use Backerkit Later Too! If you decide to add items during our pledge survey stage, you can do that in Backerkit, where you'll have the same options you have in the Add-Ons section of Kickstarter!

Hopefully this helps guide you in selecting exactly the items you want to tailor your selections and Make Your Fey Campaign Legendary!
