Ultimate Faeries: Fey Monsters & Campaigns for DnD 5E & PF

Fey Class Options (PF2) up! Faerie Bestiary (PF1) revised!

Hi all,

We are excited to announce a special backer release for Pathfinder Second Edition that is available now in your Backerkit downloads for everyone who ordered Faerie Campaigns (PF2)! 

We didn't quite have enough time for our layout artist on this project to finish up the full Faerie Campaigns (PF2) book before he headed out for a family vacation, so we pivoted to get this shorter book out the door in the time window we had so you could get another big chunk of the material from the big book into your hands. Better a smaller piece complete than the whole unfinished. He and his family will be out the next few weeks before returning in late April to crack on with the final pieces of the Ultimate Faeries project! 

We also had time to fix a few small typos and things people noticed in Faerie Bestiary (PF1), so that PDF has been updated in Backerkit as well, marked as Faerie Bestiary (PF1) v2 (4-3-23). One of our backers pointed out that when we reuploaded a previous file there was no way for them to tell from their end in Backerkit which was the most recent version (it shows it on *my* end in Backerkit, but apparently not to customers), so we've added the version number and upload date to make sure you know which version is the new one. 

Once the Faerie Bestiary (PF1) clears print approvals, we'll be able to start our next batch of print shipments for people who are getting only PF1 books. Our 5E and PF2 shipments will begin once we receive those books from our overseas printer later this summer.

Faerie Bestiary PF1 and Into the Feyweald PF2 are up!

Hi all, we've got a double dose of delight for you! 

• For Pathfinder RPG fans, the massive 248-page Faerie Bestiary is ready for download in your Backerkit! What we originally planned as a 100ish-page softcover more than doubled in size due to stretch goals and just wanting to make truly legendary book! 

• For PF2 fans, it looks like we will not quite get Faerie Campaigns PF2 ready for you before our layout artist heads out on a several-week family vacation. HOWEVER, it looks like we have just enough time to get the remaining key elements of it ready for you as standalone products to add to the ones you've already got in your downloads. We've just uploaded the new faerie adventure Into the Feyweald so you can get it right now on Backerkit, and we're pushing to get Fey Class Options ready for you this weekend before he heads out of town. He'll be back home in late April and can resume work on Faerie Campaigns (PF2). 

• After multiple back-and-forth review passes with our printer, Faerie Bestiary (PF2) has finally gone to print! In addition, print proofs should be arriving soon for the Faerie Bestiary (5E), both the regular and the deluxe edition, and we look forward to seeing them and sharing photos when they arrive! 
• Last but not least, I've been digging into Ultimate Rulership (PF2) this week, pulling together my notes and pieces and cross-checking them against the final version of the PF2 kingdom-building and mass combat rules from the Kingmaker Anniversary Edition Adventure Path. Some of the rules in this book are entirely new modular systems while others are tweaks to how you might play with resource scores and resource dice, leadership roles, kingdom actions, and more. I'll have more updates as I get closer to completion on this book.

Faerie Herbalism is here for PF2! Faerie Bestiary PF1 in final revisions!

Hi all,

We have just sent out download codes through Backerkit for Faerie Herbalism for Pathfinder Second Edition. This will be included in your full copy of Faerie Campaigns, just as it was in the 5E version, but David Ross made a more robust version for PF2 that had enough material to be released as a standalone product as well. We'll be releasing it for sale next week, but we wanted our PF2 Kickstarter backers to have the first chance to see it! You can download it right now on Backerkit, so check your downloads and grab your copy today! 

We also went through the massive Faerie Bestiary for PF1. Remember when this was going to be the Faerie Bestiary Companion and only be maybe 100 pages? Yeah. This whopper of a book looks like it's going to land at either 240 or 248 pages, depending on final edits, so anyone who got this as part of their pledge ended up with a screaming good deal! We went through the whole book on our proofing pass and things are looking very good. However, we had missing art for one of the monsters we added in our stretch goals! We had to pause production on this book while we did a rush order on that missing art, and the sketches are already back. Once we get the final art, we'll put the finishing touches on this book and get it out to you! 

Faerie Campaigns 5E is ready for download!

Hi all and thanks for your amazing support on this project! I am pleased to announce that Faerie Campaigns 5E is now available to download from your Backerkit account! This beautiful book came in at 224 pages and is jam-packed with killer content that is going to make your fey campaigns truly Legendary! We have proofed and edited this book exhaustively, but as ever if you happen to spot a typo or missing word as you peruse this beauty, by all means let us know ASAP as we prep the files for the printer! 

Next up in the layout queue is the Faerie Bestiary (PF1), and that book is actually pretty far along. We originally were going to call it the Faerie Bestiary Companion, but it just kept growing into a full-sized book of its own, with a current page count estimate around 240 pages, so now it's just the flat-out Faerie Bestiary for Pathfinder RPG! The typesetting is complete and now we are in the process of art placement and, where necessary, some creative surgery on those words to make sure things fit the way they should! 

I should have the final manuscript for Faerie Campaigns (PF2) over to layout by this weekend, so once we've got the PF1 bestiary finalized we can move right along to the last of the big hardcovers. Then, last but not least, Ultimate Rulership for PF2 will be ready to start rolling to complete this project!

Hi all,

Quick updates as always! 

• The final proofing passes have been completed and final print files in the hands of the printer. It's amazing how many tiny things can slip through the cracks, but perfection is our aim and both the 5E and PF2 Faerie Bestiary have been exhaustively proofed and are looking beautiful. We've uploaded new final PDF versions to Backerkit and to DrivethruRPG so you can get the final versions at either place.
• We had a weird glitch where a number of backers who had gotten the print versions of the Faerie Bestiary 5E were not getting the PDF sent to them in Backerkit. I've created a new download rule to fix that, so if you were having issues downloading it before, you should be good to go. 
• Our Foundry VTT module for Faerie Bestiary 5E was having trouble getting onboarded at Foundry central. We sent out the codes with the last update but people couldn't activate the module. We went back and forth through the system with the great support staff there, uncovering some kind of odd glitch in a recent firmware update that was giving us a series of three different errors, but as of today that is all sorted out and anyone with the Foundry Faerie Bestiary 5E should be able to activate your module.
• Our minis have arrived! I don't remember for sure if I put it in the last update, but we now have in hand both the Arcknight plastic pawns and the STL 3D minis. We'll be including those in packages once we start sending out physical rewards. 

With the final files for the first two books at the printer and heading to the press, layout is turning now to Faerie Campaigns 5E and Faerie Bestiary PF1, so we'll be updating you soon on those soon!
