Hi all and thanks for your support on this project. The Backerkit setup required a little more time to get sorted out this time, but we have sent out the "Smoke Test" to 5% of our backers so that we can make sure everything is working smoothly and we're not seeing any glitches. Please check your email to see if you are one of the recipients, as your feedback is very much appreciated, and we need to see if there are any issues that need fixing! 

Assuming we have no problems, we'll send out the backer survey to everyone tomorrow! Please reply ASAP with the requested information. This is a great time to add in any items you weren't sure about during the campaign but decided to add in now. We've also added some new options like Royal Tournaments for 5E, PF1, and PF2. It's also where shipping is charged and collected.

We've added some answers for specific questions below! 

• What if it asks me for my mailing address and I'm not getting any physical products? You don't need my address for that! This shouldn't happen, but it's happened before. If this happens to you, just enter a completely bogus address like 123 1st St., Nowhere, WA 98000, USA, phone number (000) 000-0000. 
• Can I use an email address for Backerkit that's different from my Kickstarter email address? You can. It'll make it a little trickier for us to reconcile our download spreadsheets from Kickstarter with those from Backerkit, but we can make it work. 
• When can I download things from Backerkit? Most people reply within the first week, so probably next Friday we'll "Lock orders" on the first wave of responses. Once orders are locked, you can't change your mind to add or subtract items. We'll then charge credit cards for any added items and for shipping. As soon as cards are charged, you'll be able to download all items that have been uploaded to Backerkit's system! As we upload further items as they get completed, we'll send out Kickstarter updates so you'll know when they're available, and everyone whose card has been successfully charged can download them.
• What if I need to wait before doing my survey? While we appreciate people being as quick as they can be with replying so that we can finalize order numbers with printers, etc., we also appreciate that everyone has their own needs and situations. If for whatever reason you need to wait before doing your survey, that's fine. Most people will reply within the first week, which will get us pretty close to the numbers you need. If you need to wait until your next payday or whatever time you need, do what you need to do and submit your survey when you can. We'll check periodically to see when new surveys have come in, locking them and charging cards as they come in. You won't be able to download items until your survey is completed and locked (and charged for any shipping or extra items), but other than that you can process your survey when you need to.
• What if I'm going to move? Right now, we are only locking your orders. We won't lock addresses until we are ready to start shipping rewards. We should be able to start shipping PF1 and PF2 rewards by around the end of January. We'll let you know when addresses will be locked. 5E items will ship later, because they are being printed overseas, but we'll send out an alert via Kickstarter to let you know when those shipments are ready to begin. If your address has changed after we lock addresses for early shipments, you can email me through Kickstarter or through Backerkit and let me know you need to change it and I can manually adjust your information. 
• Are you still sending out rewards through DrivethruRPG? We can still send those out, though with Backerkit ready that system is a lot more user-friendly as far as being able to manage your files and your downloads. Backerkit will be our primary place for setting up your downloads, but if you have a particular need for something on DrivethruRPG as well, let us know!

Hi all,

We just wanted to do a quick update on our progress so far:

• We send out PDFs for all of the existing products right after the Kickstarter ended! We've been dealing with individual questions as they come in and will continue doing so. If you have any issues, let us know at [email protected]
• Our Backerkit survey is almost finished. We have one or two questions and are waiting for replies from our Backerkit rep and then we can submit the survey for approval. Once it gets approved, we can send it out to you, which should be around the middle of next week! 
• The Faerie Bestiary 5E for Roll20 is now complete and has been submitted for approvals there. Work has begun on the Roll20 version of the Faerie Bestiary PF2. The Shard and Fantasy Grounds versions of Faerie Bestiary 5E are both in progress, and we are waiting for our turn in line to get the two Foundry versions underway. We'll be sending out access keys for each VTT as it is completed through Backerkit. 

We are excited to have things moving along swiftly and hope you love these books when they arrive! 

Clarification on PDF mailing

Hi all, 

We went out the initial wave of PDFs through DrivethruRPG for those products that already exist, things like the PF1 Forest Kingdom Campaign Compendium and Ultimate Kingdoms for PF1 and 5E. 

Ultimate Faeries is not one of our "Quickstarter" projects, wherein all of the PDFs are available immediately. New books being created for this project will be released as they are completed. We are doing some final edits on the completed layout versions of Faerie Bestiary for 5E and PF2 and should have those ready to send out shortly. Other books like Faerie Campaigns, Ultimate Rulership PF2, and the PF1 Faerie Bestiary Companion are still being assembled and are scheduled for release in January, though if we get them done sooner, we'll get them out to you ASAP! 

The same is true for VTT products. Those that are done will be sent out in the next week or so. Those still in production will be released as they are completed.

PS - If the email you use for DrivethruRPG is different from the one you use for Kickstarter, let me know and I'll work on getting PDFs to you. Of course, once the Backerkit survey goes out, you can use whichever email you like there to access their system and downloads we put there for you.

• As we close Ultimate Faeries, our final Kickstarter for 2022, we want to thank all of you for your support of this project and any others you may have supported for us earlier this year or in years before! We love making games and we thank you for helping us to make them amazing! 
• First Wave of PDFs sent from DrivethruRPG! I've already sent out the first set of PDFs through DrivethruRPG to backers who ordered products that already exist, like Legendary Beginnings: A Feast of Flavor or Ultimate Kingdoms. Make sure you are logged into your DrivethruRPG account, but once you're in you should see the items in your downloads, allowing you to add them to your cart for $0.00. We have sometimes had issues with DrivethruRPG downloads in the past, so if you run into trouble, try again in a day or two. If the issue is persistent, you'll be able to download those kinds of add-ons and pledge items soon via Backerkit.
• Backer Survey Under Construction! I'm already working on assembling the items and questions for the backer survey. I'm hoping to have it ready to submit to Backerkit early next week, after which it takes a few days for them to review and approve it (or to send back edits to make). Once approved, we'll send out a "smoke test" to about 5% of backers to check the survey and make sure nothing is missing or confusing. We'll check feedback from that first group, and if everything looks good we'll send out the full survey to everyone hopefully within two weeks (or less) from now! 
• Next Quickstarter Coming in January: Most of December will be dedicated to completion and fulfillment on Ultimate Faeries and on the final chapters of Ultimate Treasury from earlier this year. Of course, at Legendary Games we never stop working on awesome stuff, and we look forward to starting next year with a clean slate with our next Quickstarter project, Mechanical Monsters! Art and design are complete for this project, with editing and layout soon to begin. We hope you'll check out this project in the new year, as it covers clockwork creatures, steampunk creations, and sci-fi horrors. Obviously, this book is heavy on constructs, but you'll find fiends, undead, fey, oozes, and more to fill out the halls of any technomagical artificer or sci-fi society in your campaign. We hope you'll check it out so we can start off 2023 right!

Thanks to all of you for this fantastic finish, with a special nod to Alex as backer #1500! We've unlocked another batch of PF2 monsters to convert back to Pathfinder RPG for the Faerie Bestiary Companion! We aren't likely to meet the $140,000 stretch goal, but I'll talk with David Ross and see if he's still game to go ahead and create a full-sized herbalism supplement for PF1. If we end up creating that book, or any other books we had planned as stretch goals, we will look into offering them as add-ons in Backerkit. We'll be in touch about future supplements like those as we move into the fulfillment phase, but for right now let's enjoy the final 72 minutes of a great campaign. It's snowing outside but cozy and warm in here, so thank you, thank you, and thank you again!
